Campfire
Campfires are landmarks in PEAK found at the top of every biome. They mark the players' progression through the map and allow access to the next biome.
Once every player is within 25 meters of the campfire, it can be lit by one of them. Once lit, it will remain lit for the next 60 seconds and can be used to cook any items the players may want to. Lighting a campfire also grants a Morale Boost to nearby players along with healing 
20 Injury.
Once a campfire is lit, the fog wall that blocks access to the next biome will dissipate shortly after, allowing further progression.
Campfires are surrounded by the current biome's flora and are guaranteed to have an empty 
Backpack nearby, with the exception of the Caldera.
Marshmallow (62.5% chance) and 
Hot Dogs (37.5% chance) also spawn nearby, one for each player alive. Occasionally, a 
Scroll can be found somewhere around the campfire.
Trivia
- The Kiln and Peak are the only biomes that do not feature a campfire at the end.
- There was a map generation bug that allowed the campfire after the Tropics to spawn on top of a nearby tree, which softlocked players who did not have adequate equipment[1]. A map update was pushed soon after with the developers promising the bug "won't happen again".
- Luggage also occasionally spawns on top of trees.[2]

1.20.a (2025-08-11): (Undocumented) Moved the Caldera campfire to inside of the volcano just before the Kiln.
1.44.a (2025-11-13): Fixed an issue where the campfires would no longer burn players.
