The Gold Prickleberry is a natural food in PEAK found growing on Cacti in the Mesa. Eating it restores Hunger 15 Hunger, Heat 10 Heat, heals Injury 10 Injury and attaches 2 thorns to the Scout's head, inflicting Thorns 10 Thorns. Because the thorns attached to the head, you cannot remove them from yourself.

Cooking a Gold Prickleberry removes the Thorns Thorns effect, in addition to the normal effects of cooking.
