Luggage

Luggage boxes are scattered around every biome in PEAK after being dropped onto the island from the airplane that crashed on the Shore. Players can open luggage boxes by interacting with them, which will then spawn up to three items from the appropriate spawn pool, depending on the type of luggage opened. A luggage box is always guaranteed to contain at least one item.

Luggage box locations are determined by the map (seed) and remain constant, although the contents of each box are randomized and determined upon opening it. A biome is not guaranteed to have all four types of luggage.

There are four types of luggage boxes currently in the game.

Regular Luggage

Regular Luggage is a moderately sized brown luggage box. It contains up to two items, with the chances of each depending on the biome of the luggage. One box of regular Luggage is guaranteed to spawn at the crash site.

Big Luggage

Big Luggage is a less common variant of luggage. It resembles the regular luggage, but is slightly taller and white instead of brown. A Big Luggage spawns more items than a regular Luggage, but has the same loot otherwise. One box of Big Luggage is also guaranteed to spawn at the crash site.

Explorer's Luggage

Explorer's Luggage is even less common that Big Luggage. It is a relatively big orange plastic briefcase containing exactly two items. It has the highest chance of offering the best climbing equipment. Antlions in the Mesa use fake Explorer's Luggage boxes in their traps.

Ancient Luggage

Ancient Luggage is a rare, stone-like luggage box sealed with a set of chains linked to a large red heart-like gem in the center of the lid. Opening this type of luggage inflicts  20 Injury on the Scout that opened it.

Ancient Luggage always contains exactly one Mystical Item.
