In PEAK, miscellaneous items are the non-food, non-gear objects that serve utility, fun, achievement, or special effects rather than directly healing or climbing. Common misc items include things like Flares (visible light/smoke for marking or finding teammates), Lanterns (light source that helps against cold), Compasses and Pirate’s Compasses (navigation or luggage tracking), Binoculars (zoom to scout routes), and Flying Discs (throwable fun item) — many of which are mostly utility or fun with limited impact on survival. There are also collectibles and achievement items like Bing Bong (plush), Bugles (used for specific quests/achievements), and Scrolls for lore or badges. Legendary or special misc items include the Bugle of Friendship (grants team-wide infinite stamina briefly) and the Cursed Skull (a risky item that sacrifices the user to revive teammates and clear status effects). Rare mystical items like the Ancient Idol grant unique effects such as temporary invincibility when held and are tied to badge progress rather than core survival functions.
