The Red Prickleberry is a natural food in PEAK found growing on Big Cacti in the Mesa. Eating it restores Hunger 15 Hunger and Heat 10 Heat and attaches 2 thorns to the Scout's head, inflicting Thorns 10 Thorns. Because the thorns are attached to the head, you cannot remove them yourself.

Cooking a Red Prickleberry removes the Thorns Thorns effect, in addition to the normal effects of cooking.
