stamina units

can we switch to using stamina units (40 total) instead of stamina %. if my hunger has ticked 3 times, and the wiki says Red Crispberry restores 5 hunger, I need to multiply my hunger ticks by 2.5 to know eating the berry would leave 2.5% hunger which is one bar. the wiki could just say a red crispberry restores 2 hunger.

if stamina only changes by multiples of 1/40, just count each 1/40. Elin (talk) 17:19, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I agree. It would help the site be more accurate and helpful. Megabrother (talk) 18:55, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
The wiki uses percents (without the percent sign) by convention. This is more accurate to the game as it uses the same values internally. This convention is agreed upon by other editors and is used all throughout the wiki, including the item infoboxes.
Please do not change the units to a different format and break existing conventions of the wiki. The Stamina bar page has recently been changed to clear up the confusion between ticks and percents. Aw4yland (talk) 11:38, 11 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
The wiki's units of choice will continue to be what's used by the developers for the game. SavageAlien (talk) 15:22, 11 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Crispberries

They can also be found in the oasis bushes in MESA, or at least that hasn't changed yet. I think crispberries have the potential to spawn in all bushes, but I haven't been able to find that out. Hexwell (talk) 16:04, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

What is the size of the initial bar?

I mean, for example you eat a coconut and restores 10, is it 10% of the bar? I am creating some content about it but I am not sure. Vnager (talk) 19:15, 7 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

All stamina units on the wiki are expressed in %, as explained on the Stamina bar page. For weight specifically, the units are 1/40th (or 2.5%) of the bar in the code, and the game always applies afflictions in these ticks, even though they are often expressed as % in the backend as well. Regardless of which is being used in the code, the wiki always talks about stamina in %, since that is what the player sees in-game. RSMind12 (talk) 04:19, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's correct. Additionally, bonus stamina can reach up to 100. Hexwell (talk) 08:10, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
